Sold
Unable to get the films that I wanted, I sold most of cameras in 2009. A few months after doing that most of the films, especially Iford XP-2 and Kodak T400CN came back. How I regretted doing that. Later bought a used Leica Minilux in July 2009, and early this year bought a Lomo LC-W (which I will talk more of later).

On the road to Sungai Lembing - View 1

Before the scraps thieves came to town
The slides show provides the glimpse of what the tin ore processing plant in Sungai Lembing used to look like. Locomotive heads with Hunslett mark, electrical generator that was known as English Electric and others which were specifically designed, fabricated and patented by the engineers, locally.
The locals were powerless, even though they tried very hard, to stop the scrappies that came from every corner of the country. Some even came from neighbouring countries. The authorities could not, or maybe did not, do anything to halt them. Now, the heritage is gone forever. What's left are these images only.
Compare these images which that you have seen below. They are at the same location. The only difference is that they are about two to three years apart.
All images were shot with Rollei 35 on Ilford Delta Professional 100.
